Adela Garcia

Adela Garcia, 75, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Daughter, and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on August 16, 2024 after a strong battle against Cancer. She entered this world on January 13, 1949 in Marathon, TX, born to Eustacio and Estela Macias. She is survived by Domingo Garcia; her son Ronald Garcia; daughter-in-law Brenda Garcia; daughter Rhonda Garcia; daughter Rosie Haught; son-in-law Shaun Haught; daughter Celestine Garcia; son-in-law Kalan Thomas; granddaughter Taylor Garcia; granddaughter Alexis Roberts; granddaughter Elana Haught; granddaughter Kaylee Garcia; great-granddaughter Abigail Potter; great-grandson Nathaniel Thomas; great-grandson Kaiden Thomas; great-granddaughter Avery Roberts; great-granddaughter Rosalie Roberts; sister Rose Galegos; sister Sylvia Calanche; brother Manuel Macias; brother Teofilio Macias. She is preceded in death by her parents Eustacio and Estella Macias and grandson Domingo Antonio Garcia

Adela was a shining example of a life well lived, filled with purpose and joy. Adela stood with a heart full of love and a smile that could light up and room. Adela lived a life of service and devotion to her family, her kindness and generosity inspired those around her and her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was the driving force behind all she did. She found joy in the simple things in life like gardening, reading, and cooking and never lost sight of what truly mattered, her faith.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 7:00 pm followed by funeral services on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Mission in Marathon, Texas.
