Beth Ann Collins, lovingly known by her husband as "Cutestuff," graced this world with her presence from January 11, 1942, until her departure on March 17, 2025. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Beth lived a life filled with purpose, dedication, and love. After completing her education at Rhinelander High School in 1958 and Milwaukee Secretarial College, Beth embarked on a professional journey that showcased her exceptional skills and deep commitment to service.
Beth's career began in 1960 when she took on the role of executive secretary to the State Senate Majority Leader. Her talents continued to shine as she joined Woolrick and Anderson Insurance Company in 1972. In 1979, she found a calling that resonated deeply with her values, working with Catholic Charities, where her compassion and hard work earned her the title of Employee of the Year for the Catholic Charities Housing Development. Beth’s commitment to making a difference extended beyond her professional life; she notably served on the Sunshine House Board in Alpine from 2015 to 2018.
Beyond her career, Beth was a woman of diverse passions. She cherished her time outdoors, finding joy in horses, deer, and birds. Gardening was a beloved hobby, where she cultivated beauty and tranquility, while her love for golf and tennis reflected her spirited nature and zest for life. Notably, she received certification from the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat, a testament to her love for the environment.
Though Beth has departed, her vibrant spirit continues to resonate in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Christopher Collins, who shared many years of love and companionship with her. She joins her beloved mother, Janet Cnare Rominsky; father, Melvin Rominsky; and her sisters, Jaqueline and Ruth, in eternal peace.
Beth's remarkable journey, filled with achievements and an unwavering dedication to others, serves as an inspiration to all. Her memory will be cherished by those she touched and will continue to shine brightly in the lives they enriched.
