Bonifacio Jaquez

Bonifacio Jaquez, 72, longtime resident of Alpine, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 13, 2014.

Rosary service will be held at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Mass of the Resurrection will follow after the rosary service. Burial will be at the Holy Angels cemetery. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jaquez was born in Alpine, Texas on February 3, 1942 to Bonifacio and Maria Jaquez. He had worked for the City of Alpine for many years.

He is survived by a daughter Sonya Anne Jaquez of Alpine, two sons, Mark A. Jaquez of Midland and Jason M. Jaquez of Alpine. He is also survived by his sisters, Rosa Edwards of Onalaska, Texas, Sally Rodriquez of Alpine, Linda Melendez of Lawrenceville, Georgia, his brothers, Ruben Jaquez of Cibolo, Texas, Jesus Jaquez of Midland, Freddy Jaquez of Alpine, Joe Jaquez of Bakersfield, California, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
