Elida Espinosa

Elida Espinosa, 82, of Marfa, passed away at Odessa Home Hospice on Thursday, April 18, 2013.

Viewing will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Monday April 22, at Geeslin Chapel in Alpine. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, at La Merced cemetery in Marfa. Pastor Jose Cordero will officiate. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs Espinosa was born in Marfa on January 16, 1931 to Roberto and Delfina Gomez. She was a homemaker.

She is survied by her sons, Robert Espinosa and his wife Cheryl of Laredo, Texas, Delfin Espinosa and his wife Allison of Louisville, Kentucky, daughters, Carmen and Lupe Espinosa, both of Marfa. She is also survived by two loving grandsons, one granddaughter, one great grandson and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Socoro Espinosa, and her parents, Roberto and Delfina Gomez.
