Facundo Rodriguez, of Presidio, Texas, was called home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 15, 2020. He was 60.
Facundo was born on November 27, 1959, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Francisco Rodriguez and Benita Rodriguez. He met and married the love of his life, Juana Rodriguez, and together they had four children.
Praying of the Most Holy Rosary will be prayed on Friday, November 27, 2020, at 10 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Presidio, with Father Miguel Alquino serving as funeral celebrant and interment at Desert Hills Cemetery.
Facundo worked as a diesel mechanic for Presidio ISD, in which at the time of his passing he was employed. Facundo was always the life of the party – dancing, singing at the top of his voice and making sure that a good time was had by all. He was an excellent grill master, always having the coals of the BBQ pit hot and ready to grill at a moment’s notice. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his brothers, going to Midland, watching TV series and listening to Vincent Hernandez.
Those preceding Facundo in death are his mother, Benita Rodriguez, and one sister, Carlota Baeza. Those left to honor and cherish the memory of Facundo are his father Fransisco Rodriguez; his wife Juana Rodriguez; his four sons Heriberto Rodriguez, Abraham Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez and Adrian Rodriguez; his four sisters Rosa Rios, Carolina Leyva, Irma Dominguez and Letty Tharp; his three brothers Manuel Rodriguez, Fransisco Rodriguez and Mario Rodriguez; as well as 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many beloved friends.
Facundo will be missed dearly by his family and friends. The Rodriguez family would like to thank everyone for their words of encouragement, prayers and support.
