Flora Gonzales, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother has gone to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed away at her residence in Alpine on Thursday, December 29, 2016.
Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace. Graveside service will follow at the Holy Angels cemetery. Fr. Robert S. Kobe will officiate. Alpine Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with her services.
Flora was preceded in death by her parents, Jacinto Carrillo and Angela Carrillo and her granddaughter Tea Cheyenne Zubia.
Flora leaves a legacy of love, humility and strength to the love of her life, Nabor Gonzales and their children, Elva Acosta, Irma Cobos, Linda Diaz, Cecilia Zubia and Nabor Manuel Gonzales. Siblings, Jacinto Carrillo, Jr., Rosa Bernal and Delma Sierra, plus meaning nieces. nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Flora's legacy also passes on the her 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and her son-in-law Billy Cobos.
Flora is in the safe and loving arms of her God, the one and only true living and loving God, her creator, God Almighty, the great "I am", the first and the last, Jesus Christ, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the one who is an is to come.
