Joel Rojo Fierro, aged 44, born on July 19, 1974, went home to our Heavenly Father on May 10, 2019.
He is preceded in death by his father, Julian Sanchez Fierro, Jr., his Brother, Danny Rojo Fierro, and his aunt, Anita Dias Rojo. He is survived by his mother, Margarita Rojo Fierro of Alpine, brothers; Leroy Rojo Fierro of Colorado, Oscar Rojo Fierro and Robert Rojo Fierro of Alpine, his sister, Sandra Ann Beasley of Terrell, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
In life, he enjoyed fishing in many lakes across Texas, Colorado and Idaho, as well as having bonfires for friends and family. He was born and raised in Alpine, with small stints in Colorado and Idaho. In life, his main goal was to be there and provide for others - mainly his mother, Margarita Fierro. He was a very talented man. He was an artist, welder, mechanic, plumber, and A/C tech. Motorcycles and metal work were great joys for him. He was a Motorcycle enthusiast 'A Harley" man. He was also a talented musician. He played guitar and wrote songs.
He leaves behind a legacy of being a beloved son, brother, uncle godfather and friend. May he rest in Peace.
Public viewing will be held from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at hillside Baptist Church (205 Church Road).
His Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2019 at Hillside Baptist Church followed with burial at Holy Angels Cemetery. Pastor Brad McGuire will be the Celebrant.
