Manuel Lujan

Manuel Manny H. Lujan, 66, lifetime resident of Marfa, passed away at the Veterans hospital in Big Spring, Texas on Friday, May 17, 2013.

Manny was born in Marfa on January 28, 1947 to Josefina and Manuel L. Lujan. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam era as a Sargeant. He was the mechanic and owner of Lujans Auto in Marfa for thirty four years.

He is survived by his wife, Genoveva Jeanie Lujan of Marfa, daughters, Krista N. Lujan of Odessa Candida Lujan Viera of Odessa and sisters, Lorrina Ragsdale and her husband Sammy of Dallas and Carmen PenaAlfaro and her husband Jaime of Austin. He is also survived by his grandsons, Donny Rey Papoose Martinez, Jr., Jacob Zachary Zack Martinez and Dustin Rene Matinez all of Marfa.

Manny was preceded in death by his parents, Josefina and Manuel Lujan and his brother George Lujan.

Services were entrusted to Alpine Memorial Funeral Home.
