Olga Ramirez Llanez of Alpine, Texas died on Saturday January 20, 2024 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 69.
Olga was born in Seminole, Texas on June 19, 1954 to Gregorio and Audelia Betancourt. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Felix Llanez, Jr. in 1984. She leaves behind her spouse, Johnny Valencia of 36 years, a daughter Adrianna Llanez and grandson Arik Llanez.
Olga was the oldest of seven siblings, Sammy Ramirez, Oralia Betancourt, Brenda Jimenez, Anna Ybarra, Frankie Betancourt and her late brother Michael Betancourt. Olga was survived by many nieces and nephews.
She spent 22 years working for Alpine Independent School District where she made countless acquaintances and friends. She valued the children she served daily and in 2021 she retired.
Rosary will be held Saturday, January 27th at 10:30 AM with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. and funeral to follow at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Holy Angels Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Portillo, Jr., Bobby Jimenez, Jr., Samuel Ramirez, Jr., Michael Ybarra, Auden Ramirez, Arik Llanez and Connor Ramirez.
Olga Llanez will be deeply missed for the love she shared with those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
