Pilar Llanez

Pilar H. Llanez passed away at the age of 90 and was a resident of Alpine, TX. Pilar was born to the late Ursolo & Catarina Llanez. Pilar came from a family of ten children. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Santos Lopez, Catarina Garcia, his brothers Felix, Laco, granddaughter Kaitlyn Llanez, son-in-law George Ramos, and great-granddaughters Analeigh and Adaleina Natera. He is survived by his brothers George, Patricio & Refugio, sisters Esperanza Chavez and Maria Delgado. Pilar married Ramona Bermudez on January 3, 1958 and together they have six children: Robert, Miguel, Adel, Glen, Caesar & Brian. They also have 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. 

Pilar was a devout Catholic and a retiree of the Southern Pacific Railroad. He had a strong love for baseball and played golf as well, which was passed down from generation to generation. Pilar was a passionate man when it came to his wife and family. He loved deeply and with his whole heart. Pilar was an extraordinary man that held many qualities, one of them being that he was such a devoted husband and father.
