Rebekah Santabar

Rebekah Lynn "Bekah" Santabar, 26, of Alpine, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at her residence.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M., at the Valentine Community Center in Valentine, Texas. A memorial service in Alpine will follow at a later date.

Rebekah's Native name was Yellow Flower, and she was born of the Ani Sahoni (Panther Clan) of the Tsalagiyi Nvdagi Tribe. Bekah was born in Easton, New York.

Bekah was a talented artist and enjoyed handcrafts, decorating cakes, gardening and sewing for her children. Halloween was Bekah's favorite time of year.

Bekah is survived by her husband John Lear, her parents Tracy Kemp and Scott Santabar, her daughters, Aurora Van Beasichem, Ella Kemp, Naomi Lear and her son Waylon Dunshee, her sisters, Hannah Santabar, Angeni Kemp, her brothers Greg Santabar, Daniel Garnsey, Latham Garnsey, Gordon Kemp and numerous nieces and nephews.
