Richard Allen

Richard Glenn Allen, born August 19, 1949, died Tuesday September 6, 2022 in his home in Marathon, TX. Richard was an artist and an engineer, an inventor, and a dreamer; a true renaissance man. He spent his last years in quiet contemplation and passed content with his life and secure in his beliefs.

He leaves behind his beloved Nelda Ortiz and the generations of children that they cared for including Joshua Allen, Michelle Fleming, Jonathan Kringen, Ruben Ortiz, Veronica Lozano, and Crespin Ortiz. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Allen, and his sisters, Cathy and Jerri Allen.

Services will be held for Richard at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Alpine Memorial Funeral Home Memorial Chapel and a memorial service on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marathon, Texas.
