Rosa Elva Madrid, a beloved teacher's aide in Candelaria and Presidio, Texas, who had a great sense of joy from being around her students, passed away on April 7, 2024, in Candelaria, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1951, in San Antonio del Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Rosa was known for her passion for fishing, spending quality time with her family, solving crossword puzzles, and engaging in friendly conversations with everyone she met. Her warm personality made it easy for her to connect with others as she never met a stranger and had a wide circle of friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness cherished by many. Rosa will be dearly missed by her surviving family members and friends including her son Reynaldo Pantoja and his wife Gloria Torres; granddaughters Estela, Marcie, Reynee, and daughter Melissa Brito and her husband Joe, granchildren Julien and Julissa, sisters Loraine Tellez and Sandra Lopez, half sister Virginia Lopez, brothers Marcelino Lozano and his wife Josefina, as well as Roberto Lozano, Francisco Auden Lozano and several nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles.
In the hearts of those who knew her well and loved her dearly, Rosa will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering generosity. She is now reunited in heaven with her deceased parents Marcelino and Olivia Lozano, her twin sister Estela and her brothers Francisco, Oscar and Rey Lozano.
