October 12th, 2017, was the day Sam Beach moved from Earth to Heaven. He trusted Jesus with his heart and his eternity.
Sam Beach was born to Raymond and Catherine (Green) Beach on Juen 23, 1938 in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
He worked as a truck driver for LeeWay, P.I.E, and Yellow Truck Lines for many years. He also built, flew, and enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes for decades.
He was a good husband, a good father, and a good man. We will miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Mark Beach and Alan Vana.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Lou Beach of Fort Stockton, his son Cory Beach of Albuquerque, New Mexico, his daughter Andrea Covington and wife Carl of Alpine, his daughter-in-law Edsel Vana of Marfa. Grandchildren Julia Ferjo and husband Chris of Alpine, Emma Zent and husband Ryan of South Korea, Jody Covington, Alyn Covington both of Alpine, Dana Pante of Lubbock, Gavin Vann of Marfa, and two great-grandsons, Redd Ferjo and Jax Ferjo both of Alpine.
Graveside services for San Beach will be held on Tuesday, October 17th, at 11am at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted by the Beach family to Alpine Memorial Funeral Home.
