William Sprinkle, Jr.

March 1, 1945 — July 22, 2017

William "Bill" Autry Sprinkle, Jr., 72 of Huntsville, Texas, died on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident in Sutton County. He had been a resident of Huntsville for the last 25 years.
Bill was born on March 1, 1945, in Monahans, Texas to William A. Sprinkle, Sr., and Metha Sprinkle. Bill, was employed by The State of Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Procurement Officer.
Most importantly, Bill knew Jesus Christ as his savior. He loved Jesus with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength and he loved to share Christ with others. He loved, served, and cherished the Lord until his final day.
Bill graduated from Pecos High School 4th in his class in 1963. He served in the United States Army, during the Vietnam War. Bill was a graduate of Sul Ross State University.
Funeral services for Bill, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 28th, 2017 at Paisano Baptist Encampment Tabernacle, with Dr. Jim Frost officiating. Military graveside services will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Alpine, Texas.
Those honoring Bill with a final act of love by serving as pallbearers are: Eric Sprinkle, Zack Sprinkle, Noah "N.T." Sprinkle, Micah Sprinkle, Tobin Wong, Andrew Montessi, Jakob Montessi, and Langston Courtney. Those serving as honorary pallbearers are: Elijah Sprinkle, Zane Wong, Titus Courtney, and Austin "A.J." Sprinkle.
Bill was the definition of a hard-working man and he worked, not for status, but to provide for his family, and friends as best he could. He also was one of the smartest men that you have ever met. He also was a kind man. He sought to help people however they needed. Bill would share the Love of Jesus Christ with everyone that he met. He was a member of the Christan Motorcycle Association, and served as Chaplain for the Pavement Apostles Chapter of CMA, as well as sharing his ministry to those in prison. Over the years during his prison ministry, Bill brought many men to the Lord.
Those preceding Bill in death are his parents: William Autry Sprinkle, Sr., and Metha Sprinkle.

Left to honor and cherish the life of Bill are: his daughter Lydia Sprinkle Wong and husband Raymond of Fort Worth; his three sons: David Cecil Sprinkle and wife Susan of Berkeley, California, Mark Stephen Sprinkle and his wife Marina of Moscow, Russia, and Nathanael William Sprinkle and wife Barbi of Sugarland, Texas. His two brothers Charles Thomas Sprinkle and wife Donna of Colorado; and James Sprinkle and wife Kathryn of Midland. Bill is further survived by his 9 grandchildren: Brienna, Noah, Kira, Micah and Elijah Sprinkle of Sugarland, Texas, Tobin, and Zane Wong of Fort Worth, and Matthew and Micah Sprinkle of Moscow, Russia, and many nieces and nephews. Bill is also survived by his beloved friends, and all the souls that he won for Christ.

Bill loved so well and is already missed. Yet, there is nothing any of his family want more than for him to be with a new body, perfectly well, and with his Savior he loved so much. Therefore, it is well.
