Usbaldo “Baldo” Ybarra, 84, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on February 13, 2022, in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Services for “Baldo” will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022. Viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with praying of the Most Holy Rosary beginning at 2:00 p.m. with mass to follow at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine, Texas with Father Alfonso Coronado Sanchez serving as Celebrant.
Usbaldo “Baldo” was born in Manuel Benavides, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jorge and Luz Maria Ybarra on August 30, 1937. Baldo worked for Reliance Medical Equipment.
Usbaldo “Baldo” is preceded in death by his parents George Ybarra, Sr. and Luz Ybarra of Alpine, Texas; three brothers, Hector Ybarra of El Paso, Texas, Flavio Ybarra of Alpine, Texas, and George Ybarra, Jr. of Alpine, Texas; four sisters, Petra Guevara of Midland, Texas, Basilisa Najera of San Antonio, Texas and Virtudes Valencia of San Angelo, Texas.
Survivors include his brother Manuel Ybarra and wife Flora Ybarra, brother-in-law Manuel Natera of Alpine, Texas, and sister-in-law Amelia Ybarra of Midland, Texas. He has numerous nieces and nephews.
Those serving as pallbearers are Joel Ybarra, Israel Ybarra, Juan Carlos Valencia, Rene Ybarra, Tony Ybarra, and Ernesto Natera with Michael Ybarra serving as honorary pallbearer.
